NPK Blending Fertilizer Equipment Sealing Improvement Solution
Improving the sealing performance of NPK bulk blending machine focuses on preventing dust leakage, reducing nutrient moisture absorption, and minimizing raw material loss. Simultaneously, it improves the workshop environment and extends equipment lifespan. The key focus is on the systematic modification and optimization of the four major processes: batching, mixing, conveying, and packaging.
In the batching section, priority is given to sealing the gaps between the silo and the weighing body. Flexible dustproof canvas covers and sealing rings are installed at the silo discharge ports to prevent dust from rising during unloading. A semi-enclosed protective cover is added to the entire batching scale, and magnetic sealing covers are used for the inspection ports. Sensor wiring interfaces are sealed to prevent both dust and fertilizer moisture corrosion. Dust collection vents are installed on the top of the silos and at the feeding ports to create negative pressure dust collection, controlling dust diffusion at the source.
The mixer is a major dust source. Thick, corrosion-resistant rubber sealing strips are replaced on the inspection doors and observation windows, and aged parts are replaced promptly. Telescopic sealing covers and baffles are installed at the inlet and outlet ends to prevent internal dust from escaping during operation. The main shaft end features an upgraded dual structure of combined oil seal and dustproof disc to prevent dust from seeping into the cavity along the shaft seam, avoiding wear and jamming of bearings and bushings.
The entire conveying equipment has undergone a closed-loop modification. Belt conveyors are equipped with integrated sealing covers, and buffer sealing hoppers are added at corners and material drop points to reduce dust generated by material drop. The elevator uses a fully enclosed shell, with sealant applied to inspection holes and flange surfaces to prevent leakage of fine powder.
At the packaging station, a ring-shaped dustproof sleeve is installed at the connection between the hopper and the packaging bag, along with a negative pressure dust collector to suppress dust generation during bagging. All equipment joints and pipeline perforations are sealed with gaskets and expanding foam.
After the modification, not only is workshop dust significantly reduced and raw material loss noticeably decreased, but it also prevents moisture-absorbing raw materials such as potash fertilizer and urea from becoming damp and clumping, ensuring the accuracy of batching and mixing. Simultaneously, it reduces malfunctions of electrical components and transmission parts caused by dust and moisture, achieving a win-win situation of environmental protection and stable production in the NPK blending fertilizer production line.
