How does a hydraulic compost turning machine achieve aerobic fermentation of organic fertilizer?

The hydraulic compost turning machine is the core equipment for aerobic fermentation of organic fertilizer. Through forced oxygen supply, temperature control, moisture dissipation, and homogenization, it allows materials to decompose quickly, stably, and thoroughly within the fermentation tank.

After the material enters the fermentation tank, it forms a pile of a certain height. When naturally piled, the interior is oxygen-deficient, the temperature is too high, and moisture cannot dissipate, easily leading to anaerobic fermentation, foul odors, and incomplete fermentation. The hydraulic trough-type compost turner uses hydraulic lifting to adjust the turning depth, allowing the turning rollers to penetrate deep into the bottom of the material layer. As the equipment moves along the track, the high-speed rotating turning teeth turn, break up, and push the bottom material upwards. This process introduces a large amount of air, providing aerobic microorganisms with sufficient oxygen for rapid reproduction and decomposition of organic matter.

The compost turner effectively controls the fermentation temperature during operation. When the material temperature exceeds 65℃~70℃, timely turning of the pile can dissipate heat and lower the temperature, preventing microbial inactivation. When the temperature is too low, turning the pile promotes full reaction, raises the pile temperature, ensures continuous high-temperature fermentation, and kills insect eggs, pathogens, and weed seeds.

Simultaneously, the turning process loosens and aerates the material, allowing internal moisture to dissipate quickly, reducing moisture content and shortening the composting cycle. During repeated turning, the material is continuously mixed, broken, and moved, slowly shifting from the feed end to the discharge end, achieving continuous feeding, continuous fermentation, and continuous discharge.

After 7~15 days of standardized turning, the material is fully composted, odorless, and loose in texture, becoming qualified organic fertilizer raw material. The hydraulic trough-type compost turner, through stable and controllable turning operations, ensures high fermentation efficiency, thorough composting, stable quality, and no secondary pollution of organic fertilizer, making it a key piece of equipment in modern large-scale organic fertilizer fermentation production lines.
