Fertilizer Roller Press Granulator Operation Specifications
These specifications apply to the operation, maintenance, and maintenance of the extrusion granulator, the core equipment of a fertilizer roller press granulator production line. They aim to ensure continuous and stable operation of the production line, improve the quality of the granulated product, and extend the equipment’s service life.
1. Pre-start Preparation: Check the fasteners and roller clearance of the fertilizer roller press granulator. Ensure the gearbox and bearing lubrication levels are within acceptable limits and that the transmission system is functioning correctly. Control the raw material moisture content to 15%-25%, particle size ≤5mm, and ensure there are no hard metal impurities to prevent jamming or roller sticking. Confirm that the production line’s feeding, screening, and other auxiliary equipment are functioning normally, and that electrical grounding and emergency stop switches are effective.
2. Start-up Operation: First, run the machine at low speed under no-load for 3-5 minutes to check for abnormal noises and smooth roller rotation. Then, start the feeding system and feed a small amount of material at low speed. Once the granules are uniformly formed, gradually increase the load to full capacity. Do not feed at full capacity all at once. Synchronize the feeding with the upstream and downstream equipment on the production line.
3. Operation Control: Conduct inspections every 30-60 minutes. Bearing and gearbox temperatures should not exceed 70℃. Clean any adhering material promptly. Maintain uniform feeding. Do not approach rotating parts. Do not disassemble the protective cover or use hard objects to clean the machine cavity while it is running.
4. Shutdown Procedure: First, stop the production line feeding system. Wait until the raw material in the machine cavity is emptied and extrusion is complete before stopping the granulator main unit. Do not stop the machine while material is still present. After shutdown, clean the machine cavity and remove any residual raw material from the pressure rollers. Do not wash electrical components with water. Simultaneously shut down any auxiliary equipment on the production line.
5. Maintenance and Safety: Clean the equipment every shift. Lubricate bearings daily. Change the oil in the gearbox every 3 months. Check the pressure roller wear monthly and replace them promptly. In case of equipment failure, immediately stop the machine and disconnect the power. During maintenance, display warning signs and have a designated person supervise the process.
