Common Faults in Fertilizer Crusher in NPK Fertilizer Production Lines
The fertilizer crusher is a key piece of equipment in the raw material pretreatment process of the NPK fertilizer production line. It is mainly used for crushing lumpy raw materials. During processing, it is prone to malfunctions such as blockage, abnormal noise, and insufficient crushing fineness. Proper troubleshooting and maintenance can extend the equipment’s lifespan.
Common Faults and Solutions:
- Blockage of the fertilizer crusher: This is caused by impurities in the raw material or excessive feeding speed. Immediately stop the machine and disconnect the power. Clean the blockage material inside the machine, remove stones, metal, and other impurities from the raw material, and adjust the feeding speed.
- Insufficient crushing fineness: This is often caused by worn blades or clogged screens. Replace or grind the blades, clean the screen apertures, and ensure the screen is undamaged.
- Excessive equipment vibration: This is caused by unbalanced blades or loose bolts. After stopping the machine, adjust the blade balance and tighten all connecting bolts.
Subsequent Maintenance Points: After each shutdown of the fertilizer crusher, thoroughly clean the residual powder and screen inside the machine and check the wear of the blades. Add lubricating oil to the bearings weekly, check the integrity of the screen monthly, disassemble the equipment every six months to inspect the motor, blades and transmission components, avoid long-term overload operation of the equipment, and regularly calibrate the equipment parameters to ensure stable crushing effect.
