Half-Wet Material Crusher

The half-wet material crusher is an impact-type crushing machine specifically designed for materials with high moisture content and high fiber content. Its core technical approach combines “tandem dual-stage rotor crushing” with a “screenless, anti-clogging design.” Unlike traditional crushers that utilize screens, this machine features a unique structure with two rotors arranged vertically in series and an internal chamber devoid of screen plates.

The machine’s core competitive advantage lies in the combination of a screenless design and dual-stage rotor crushing. This configuration effectively resolves the industry-wide challenge of screens becoming clogged or gummed up when processing organic fertilizer raw materials with moisture content ranging from 20% to 55%. Compared to chain crushers, the half-wet material crusher offers superior adaptability to sticky materials and is specifically engineered for feedstocks with moisture levels between 50% and 80%. It excels at processing viscous materials characterized by high moisture content (30%–60%).

System Composition and Technical Architecture

The technical architecture of the half-wet material crusher comprises the following layers:
(I) Frame Support Layer: Constructed by welding high-quality carbon steel plates and channel steel. The structure is robust and compression-resistant, capable of withstanding impacts from hard impurities while remaining resistant to deformation and corrosion.
(II) Dual-Stage Rotor Crushing Layer: Consists of an upper rotor and a lower rotor. The upper rotor performs primary crushing, while the lower rotor carries out fine pulverization. The hammer heads are made of high-alloy, wear-resistant material.
(III) Power Transmission Layer: Utilizes a flexible belt drive system. The main shaft is connected via a speed-increasing pulley to ensure smooth, high-speed operation.
(IV) Discharge Adjustment Layer: Features a screenless design. Output particle size is controlled by adjusting the gap between the hammer heads and the liner plates using a bidirectional gap adjustment mechanism.
(V) Centralized Lubrication Layer: Allows for the injection of lubricating oil without the need to shut down the machine.

Production Line Coordination and System Integration

The half-wet material crusher serves as the core crushing unit in an organic fertilizer production line. It accepts clumped, fermented material at the intake stage and subjects it to a two-stage crushing process; once the material reaches the required particle size, it proceeds to subsequent stages such as proportioning, mixing, and granulation. The complete processing workflow is: livestock and poultry manure → aerobic fermentation → half-wet material crushing → proportioning and mixing → granulation → drying → cooling → screening → packaging. The equipment integrates seamlessly with other machinery, including compost turners, belt conveyors, mixers, granulators, dryers, coolers, screening machines, and packaging machines.
