line are divided into two categories. One is related to the physical properties of raw materials, and the other is related to the characteristics of extruders.
1. Characteristics of raw materials
The nature of the raw materials has a great influence on the extrusion granulation effect of the compound fertilizer production line.
(1) Moisture
When the material enters the biting zone, it must have good fluidity, which requires the water content of the material to be very low. Of course this is not to say that absolutely dry raw materials are ideal. A small amount of moisture is also advantageous for the extrusion process. Different materials have different water content ranges.
(2) Particle characteristics
The brittleness and plasticity of the material particles will cause the material to exhibit different forming mechanisms. The size and shape of the material particles will affect the bulk density of the material.
(3) Temperature
The temperature of the raw material has a great influence on the extrusion granulation of the compound fertilizer production line, and during the extrusion process, the friction between the particles generates heat and the temperature of the material increases.
In general, the increase in temperature is conducive to the successful completion of the extrusion process, and is also beneficial to the strength of the tablet, but too high temperature will also have an adverse effect.
(4) Binder
Another important factor in the extrusion process is the use of binders. For some materials, a binder is required to complete the extrusion process.
2. Characteristics of the
roller press granulator
(1) Roll width
During the extrusion process, the material is formed by the pressure exerted by the extruder, and the pressure is obviously an important factor affecting the extrusion granulation effect of the compound fertilizer production line.
(2) Clearance between rolls and roll diameter
The gap of the rolls determines the thickness of the tablet and thus the throughput of the extruder. Increasing the roll diameter is advantageous for the extrusion granulation effect of the compound fertilizer production line, but it is limited by the equipment cost associated with the roll diameter. The roll diameter used in the fertilizer industry is usually 3-10 cm.
(3) Surface shape of the roll.
(4) The rotational speed of the rolls. Another factor affecting the extrusion granulation effect of the compound fertilizer production line is the rotational speed of the rolls.
Now, the extrusion granulation process of the compound fertilizer production line has become a compound fertilizer production technology recommended by the International Fertilizer Research Center to developing countries. As one of leading
fertilizer machine manufacturers, our company's popular products are: compound fertilizer equipment, drum granulator, disc granulator and other production line equipment
